Hi everyone,
Our neighbors dog attacked our chickens! I came out to find an Alaskin Malmute with my 11 week old Light Brahma in his mouth. He dropped him as I approached and to my suprise is still alive. He has been very quiet.. I was able to get him to drink yet still hasnt eaten.. I found two small punctures that dont seem to be deep and treated them. However! His one leg is injured, he hasnt been able to use it yet it does not appear to be broken! One of the punctures is above and slightly back from were the leg begins... He has become a little bit more alert but still doesnt put any weight on his leg... So he just lays there. What should i do, what are his chances, what could be wrong??? Please help!
All of our flock scattered it took all afternoon to find them all! But they are all accounted for...
