Dog attack

Thanks for the advice everyone the kid is my age and he was the only one home when the dog got out. My mom and his mom (the dogs owner) are really good friends so my mom will talk to her when she comes back. The kid probably is really scared but I don't think they have the chicken. I had the chickens set up for unlimited free ranging but just fixed one of my movable runs into a more permantant and controlable situation. Hopefully she will just come home to roost tonight. I have looked in the wood pile in three neighbors yards and under two sheds also all the usual hiding spots. I will keep looking but I have to leave soon. I hope she finds her way home or she died quickly.

I am not to hopeful at this point but you never know. The neighbors had no idea and were really sorry. They said she will not be getting out again.

Hope your chicken comes back or at least you find her. As you posted no not to knock dogs, I will just say I am very sorry that you may have lost a chicken. At least you did not have one of these in your yard !!!
