The Nolvasan should be available at any pharmacy, and isn't Rx, so the local vet should sell some if that's needed. Silvadene is Rx, but the Neosporin may work fine instead. Again, ask at the vet's.

Mary thank you so much for this advice! We will go to our local vet first thing tomorrow morning. It might sound silly but I'm taking tomorrow off to stay home and watch her. So I'll be able to go get some.Silvadene is a sulfa antibiotic product, to be handled VERY carefully by anyone allergic to sulfa drugs.

We have been using a mix of bacon grease and honey that our local chicken expert recommended at rural king. We are using pure raw honey!Maluka honey is highly recommended as a wound dressing, and isn't an antibiotic.

Okay, so just put raw honey on her neck?Leave out the bacon fat!
Okay will do thank you!Yes.
@21hens-incharge , how long ago was that?We used to use it all the time, but not so much now. Peroxide does the same too.
