This totally does not sound silly. Her wounds look like torn off skin. Is that the case?

Yes it is sadly.

How is your girl doing??

She is still clucking. She is in a safe xl dog kennel with plenty of food and water. She gets neosporin and vetercyn everyday. And as long as infection doesn't set in I think she has a really good chance!

Most will recover quite nicely from much more serious wounds and you have been given great advice
