@MysteryChicken Sounds like it might be getting infected.Yesterday my rooster was attacked by a dog. He has two small hose and one big hole in his back. I sprayed him with vetericyn and he’s by himself. But today he smells rotten. Not eating or drinking.
In one day? It happened yesterday evening. Does it happen that fast.@MysteryChicken Sounds like it might be getting infected.
Do you have a local vet? If not , make sure he is in a very clean cage and put Colloidal Silver on his wounds as well as give it to him orally. It could be infected already.Yesterday my rooster was attacked by a dog. He has two small holes and one big hole in his back. I sprayed him with vetericyn and he’s by himself. But today he smells rotten. Not eating or drinking. What else do I need to do?

Yes from what I have read, you can use penicillin. You would have to weigh your rooster to calculate the right dosage. Penicillin was used before amoxicillin was developed.I can’t find any amoxicillin but will penicillin work? If so how much do I need to use
