Dog attack.

Yesterday my rooster was attacked by a dog. He has two small holes and one big hole in his back. I sprayed him with vetericyn and he’s by himself. But today he smells rotten. Not eating or drinking. What else do I need to do?
Do you have a local vet? If not , make sure he is in a very clean cage and put Colloidal Silver on his wounds as well as give it to him orally. It could be infected already.

This is advice given to another member by @azygous who went through something similar, good luck

Penicillin is approximately 250mg per day for ten days. Any puncture wounds will inject bacteria deep into tissues. Wound are involves more than spraying Vetericyn. You need to flush them well with saline or soap and water. Every day.
