Dog Attack

A dog recently attacked and killed three of our chickens. I really don't want to leave them locked up all day, even if we do move the coop every few days. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could do to minimize the risk that this will happen again?

A perimeter fence would be the only sure way I'm afraid....
