Sorry. I've never seen a mother give birth or even owned a puppy before. I only rescue. I can't help but good luck! I hope everything works out well.

I’ve only helped with one dog giving birth, I didn’t have to do anything and the babies all came within 10-20 minutes from each other.

I have 0 experience with dog breeding, but find these threads interesting. Doesn't 4 hours seem like a long time? I thought it was 20 minuets give or take.
