How many times did you breed them before they were spayed?

first female: 8 litters. One heat a year. died at 9 years of age. (3 months after we spayed.)
second female: 7 litters. one heat a year. died at 10 years of age. (three months after being spayed.

9 and 10 years is old for a dog, thats very late to spay

But you can get your dog fixed if you can’t separate them.

we can separate, but my male, broke thru the male dog prison when she whent to heat. and broke our horse trailer to get to our lady.

If they died of cancer that soon after being spayed, the cancer probably started growing quite some time before that.

What kind of cancer did each one have?
What kind of dog are they?

@Mutchi, if you don't want to spay her, why not neuter the boy?

the male is way yonger than her, hes the new breeding male.

I doubt this person is trying to harm the dog and may not have known that twice a year was too much. Also the dog is not giving birth in the crate and no one has the right to be rude these people! So I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say good luck with the beautiful puppies

Rottweilers

(My question was answered once, but that disappeared when the mods were cleaning up the thread-- probably was in one of the posts that needed to be removed for other reasons.)
