Thanks! We are no where near a whole foods *gasp*. We have an Amish population and they tend to have small shops with nothing but vitamins and supplements. It was too busy today to squeeze in anything else, so tomorrow I will give it a shot to try to find some.

I order mine online to have on hand as, sadly, I have frequent use for it. lol
Only takes a few days to get by mail. Maybe google 'homeopatic remedies' in 'your town/county'.

I would not rule out the Amish, they may use homeopathy.

You will not regret doing that, each tube is less than $10 and contains about 80pellets, ie many doses. Chickens often have injuries that could benefit by Aconite(for shock with severe fright) and Hypericum(paralysis and nerve injuries) like when they are attacked by a predator. So if you buy online you might want to get that trio to make it worth the shipping.
I'm sure your girl will heal fine.

I located two options for tomorrow. I also know of some shops that aren't going to show up on Google. But, I will need to do it during my lunch break tomorrow so need it mapped out.

She will heal very rapidly. You can ask the vet for some pain meds. You can use aspirin on dogs (but not cats). Just be sure to get the buffered kind. Otherwise you may give her an upset stomach.

The vet gave us deramaxx, but once she got the staples it wasn't doing much for her.
She is a little better today much slower than when she first got sutures.

I went to the nutrition store, they have tons of supplements and holistic options.
I found the arnica Montana or where it should be, but they were all out! They had other tubes of supplements, but totally out of what I wanted. Must be a testament to the product.
Anyway, since I wanted to give her something extra for the pain, I got some turmeric.
I also went to a feed store and picked up some veterycin. The guys there had nothing but praise for it and since I haven't bought any yet for the chickens, I figured it would come in handy later too.

My dog doesn't like the taste of turmeric. I put it in an empty capsule and hide it in a treat.

My dog doesn't like the taste of turmeric. I put it in an empty capsule and hide it in a treat.

She doesn't get fooled by the treat trick. She will spit anything that she thinks is medicine out. Those chewable dog tablets, she won't eat even though the other dogs love them. I have to cut them into pieces and put them all the way in the back of her mouth. Close her mouth and tell her to swallow. Once she licks her lips and we are all done with meds (She has allergy pills she has to take daily) she will get an ice cube as a "treat". She's definitely a dog with a personality.
