Dog gashed side from bouncing into chicken run - graphic pics

When I read through other sites, only the one posted above mentioned to use caution with the 95%. Other than that, the other sites recommended it.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's weird.

And now I'm wondering what's really best hah

That was an Australian website, so maybe they have guidelines?
Both of the bottles of turmeric that I picked up yesterday had 95% . So, I don't know why they would be concerned.

Good morning hope your fur baby is feeling better, sending prayers and love :love:hugs
She is doing better today. Thanks!

I took both of my big dogs out this morning to play in the snow. I went to check on the chickens and grab the last egg when I heard the two bounce into the run while playing.
Then, I heard crying and whining. Looked and my one girl kept looking toward her back end while yelping.
I brought them in to check her out and we found a gash on her right side.
It didn't look too bad at the top, but the bottom was opened more - so took her to the vet.
It was worse than we thought. Ugh.

Oh my, great job getting her to your vet! She is a lucky girl to have such a caring Mom! Glad she is resting and many hopes for a seamless & SPEEDY recovery.

I searched for the right percentage of curcumin for dogs, but I didn't find any info. I did find some dog products with anywhere between 2% to 95%.
I first started using turmeric for my GSD for joint discomfort and it seemed to help. What convinced me was one day I noticed Zach seemed to be in more discomfort. Why I asked myself? ... DUH! I had forgotten to give him his turmeric for 3 days! I just used some turmeric I got in bulk. Nowadays I would be more wary of the source/quality.
