So I have 2 dogs, a 2 year old hound mix named Penny and a 1 year old border collie mix named Zoey. Zoey is very jealous of Penny to the point that I can't even pat Penny without Zoey getting between us and biting her. How do I fix this, without getting rid of a dog? Is there a way I can train her to be nice? Penny was the first dog and I got Zoey a year later.
    Thanks in advance. [IMG]

Cisar Milan! Some of his ideas are really strange, but others seem really right on.

If they were my dogs, I'd never trust them alone together if you leave the house to run errands. Crate one or both or you'll come home to a tragedy some day.

Don't tolerate the behavior. When you're petting Penny and Zoey gets in the way, make her go away. Even better, when you see Zoey starting to head that way, make her stop.....If you continue to let her do this, it will just escalate. Just like with children, YOU are the boss and Zoey's meanness needs corrected.

Just don't ALLOW Zoey to be a brat!

Best command I ever taught my snarky boys? *name* go lie down. They know I'm not kidding.
