I recently purchased a dog kennel 10ftLx10ftWx6ftH and also two more 10ft pannels making the total measurements 10ftLx20ftWx6ftH is that enough space for 8 chickens?

The minimum run space for chickens is

10 sqft per chicken

So 80 sqft for 8 chickens

so 100-200 sqft is perfect. I use dog kennel/chain link too. But we don’t have any ground predators with my dogs running around day and night.

That's a pretty good size for 8!

Thanks for answering.. i just wanted to make sure that they had enough room... i also have a chicken tractor andgonna make chicken tunnels too.

Works great. I suggest putting hardware cloth dig barrier and about 4 foot up the side. The chain link will keep most everything but snakes out. It however will not keep things like coons from sticking their arm in and grabbing things.

Did you ever complete your project run and tunnels? I am wondering how to attach it all together.
