Try to find a un used fishing pool and herd them with it.

simply through food in the kennel and they will RUN in.......then shut the door for the night...

Mine will follow me to, well, you know where and back as long as I have that red coffee can in my hand. I feed them a little scratch out of it. If I want them in the coop early or if I've let them free range and I want to go in (bad hawk problem) and I need them back into the run I grab that can put a little scratch in it, shake a little and they follow.
they can be trained to go from one spot to the other.

You need a treat jar. It's easy to teach them to run to you (and follow you). Just keep scratch or sunflower seeds or something hard and yummy in a jar. Shake it, call "chick-chick-chick," and toss just a little for them to eat. I'll bet it wouldn't take a week for them to learn to run to you when you shake that jar and call them. Then you can just lure them into the kennel and lure them back to their run.

Much better than being pooped on during a round-up...lol!
