My Dane is my baby. She follows me everywhere and has the best personality of any dog I've ever had. DH tells me that when she passes I'll have to be put in a mental hospital. She got hurt really bad a while back. By really bad I mean almost cut off one of her hind legs at my dad's place. Still don't know what she got into unless it was one of the horses chasing her out of the fence and she got it hung on the barb wire. $1000 vet bill later and telling the vet that I will not put her down she's back to normal. The scar looks horrible from all the stitches but she's jumping in the truck by herself and acting like nothing happened. Thank goodness, I'm not ready for the mental place...
