Meet Tuck!
He has chased two predator birds from our backyard this week!
The other day two of our hens set off alarms which got our dogs attention! He took off out the door quicker than speedy Gonzales!
So the kids and I followed and what did we see?!? Our dog chasing a hawk!
That was a crazy surprise but totally awesome!
He then went and checked on our baby chicks and the hens who were all hiding.
Then today we caught sight of another big bird! I'm not sure what kind of bird it was but it would have only been big enough to take on one of the babies.
I saw it stalking the babies who were trying to hide in our blackberry bushes.
I opened the door and my dog took off after it!
He then checked on the shaking babies and hens again.
So I just wanted to share what my awesome dog has done this week!
He is now laying on the porch watching the chicks
They're not cuddling but they are close!
