I just heard of that breed... there is one in the neighborhood where I walk.. I think he has liver spots though...

We got him at 11 months old, someone flew him from Texas to Cheyenne Wyoming, just to have him end up in the dog shelter. He was named Pistol Pete when we got him, Pistol Pete is the mascot for the University of Wyoming. We were the 5th or 6th owner, so we left his name and call him Pistol - because he is always on the go. He answers to Pete also.
The Lewellen Setter is a type of English Setter. They are pointers. They are what is considered a gun dog - they point the birds and hold them until the "gun" is ready.

Former laboratory Beagle (ear tattoos) then rescued from kill shelter
Female, age unknown. She's been with us for nearly 5 years. Definitely a senior. <smile>
Note the cute little "table butt." Also, I believe the scar under her right eye is from an inhalation cone at the laboratory. She has displayed PTSD aggression with her nose and face.

Adopted 3 years ago, was dumped in a parking lot in California, was brought to Washington state. Part of jaw deformed due to infection which was not treated by whoever dumped him. Was underweight 3.5 pounds.
No teeth, tongue is out all the time. Velcro 1.

Given to us by husband's co-worker. Her Doxie wouldn't accept her, beat her up and wouldn't let her eat. Velcro 2.

Given to us by a gal, said her son (8 monthe was allergic to him), was bought for her 4 year old daughter birthday present. Said he was 8 weeks. Took to vet, said he was more like 6 weeks, was just getting his baby teeth. Had bad case of Geradia, said he wouldn't have made it another week. Never know he was that close to death now.He's a big Chihuahua.
