Dog won't stay off couch

Have you ever seen the scat mats, the little plastic things that make it where they can't get traction? I don't know if they work, as we let ours on furniture, or if you got one of the car alert things, put it up so when ever he jumps up, there is a noise and maybe it will scare him?

We flip the cushions up when we leave if we don't want them up or if they come in wet. The cushions are still there but standing up so there is no room for them to lay on the couch at all and the cushions aren't down for them either! Just an idea!

They sell Critter Ridder (Home Depot...maybe Lowes?) in spray form. My dogs avoid it. Try spraying it on the couch before you leave for work each day.
