Do I win a prize?????

My other dog (18 year old Jenny) left me a prize on the kitchen floor when I just walked in. Want it?

Uh,,,,,,,,I'll pass. Thanks anyway.

OK, gonna consider that one. Will I have to have foil on my couch forever though?

Who cares? And when you have company- you can "unwrap" the couch and have nice, mew looking cushons! Then just wrap them back up when they leave! Just don't sit on them naked!!!

you could do like i do and put the sofa up on the bar when you leave. (except i put the trashcan up there)

We used one of those vinyl carpet protector runners turned upside-down on the couch. They have pokey things underneath to help them "stick" to carpet, and the dog's bed is far more comfortable than laying down on that. It's easy to roll and unroll onto the couch, and only took a few weeks to train him to sleep on his bed. I've seen similar things in pet supply catalogs, but these runners are only about $5 at Wal-mart.

Jake can leap a gate and is very proud to show off his skills.

No, you misunderstand, just lay the baby gate ON the sofa when you are gone - dog willl not jump up ... until you are home and remove the unsightly, uncomfortable THING!

Jake's 2 1/2 years old. He's a big lovable pup really. I've been trying to get him to stop for at least 6 months.

if i am reading correctly jake was allowed on the couch at one point?

and now that you and mrs.purple chicken have decided to get a new couch you want to train him not to get on the couch so that when the new one gets there he will stay off it?

have fun...his smell is already on the old one he knows its his smell and it will be really hard to keep him off it.

when you get the new one dont let him on it at all and his smell wont be on there and it will be easier to train him to stay off have a water bottle handy or what worked for my big dog was the little toy guns that shoot the suction cup arrows it is not gonna hurt cause the spring is not wound tight in those things but its enough to get his attention

Wouldn't a dog's nail rip leather? I would love some black leather. It screams single male and matches my bike and jackets.

you want REAL leather not the pleather poop that they sometimes try and pass off as leather.

i had a 120lb malamute leather was my best friend

my parents have a ~100lb chow/husky X and he has the love seat thats his "bed" he will loose a biscuit down the side and dig and dig till he could have dug himself a hole to china and the love seat is still in tact yes there is scarring on it from him being to rough but there is not a puncture wound on the seat yet and the seat is 3 yrs old
