DW mentioned that maybe Quail would be something to get into. A little research put the brakes on that. After the cost of a permit and regulations ad nauseam here in NJ it was dropped like a dirty shirt. I'm surprised the "state" hasn't seen the opportunity of permitting chicken and duck keepers.

What type of quail? I don't believe coturnix are regulated. It is raising game birds that you need permits for
