So my dog is loosing her fur due to a combo of fleas and her skin condition(forgot what it’s called, but it worsens in the summer.) Flead have been super bad this summer and I’m so ready for winter. I have free range chickens so I’m cautious about poison in the air, but I need help getting rid of fleas in my dog’s kennel. I can’t bring her inside because she has a fear of being in the house(rescued pup.) So she has a kennel connected to her own open shed. I’ve done flea shampoos, the cinnamon based flea kennel spray that hooks to the water hose, dawn detergent, apple cider vinegar, hot spot sprays, and a few other things that used to work. Her dog crate has fresh cedar chips. Anything you suggest that wouldn’t hurt my chickens?

K9 advantix II for the dog, this is all that works here, frontline no longer has any effect what so ever..
I use sulfur in the yard to run off undesired things like fleas and mites, tics. I myself do not use poisons where my grand kids will be playing.
I have a dog that had skin issues, vets said allergies to corn etc. (I call BS) The dog is not allergic to corn, I cannot tell you what it was but we dug up polk root, cut in 1" cubes, boiled that really well over an open fire, and bathed him in it. I had fought this for 3 years, he now has hair again !

I’ve tried frontline and advantage both haven’t helped even my inside cat :( its a combo of food allergies and seborrhea? is what the vet said. No more chicken in her diet and less omega 3

Fleas and tick smust be gone, then food issues addressed. Both of my current dogs are on a hypoallergenic diet over their food allergies, plus allergy shots because they are both also allergic to Michigan. It figures, I do know how to pick my pets!
