Dogs, ducks, and a guardian goose?

We have some clickers (I train my bunnies with them) and I will buy some treats and toys next time we are out. Also I will be buying tomatoes and peas for the pekin so that he gets something fun too.

Rose is super smart so I have no doubt that she will catch on, also if I'm playing with her walking her and grooming more often she probably won't be so bored.

I think dog training depends on what motivates a particular dog (praise/treats/clicker) or a combination, and the experience of the person. I have found that I am just not coordinated enough to effectively use the clicker method. I use praise and treats. As the dog masters the skill the praise is always there and treats are given at fewer intervals.
Nothing wrong with seeking professional help if needed.

I train my dog with pets not treats or clickers, b/c what if I forget the treats, then what. You can't forget your hand.
The value of being able to instantly reward your puppy becomes a lifelong habit in your ten year old dog. I haven't used a clicker in five years.
Successful dog training is when the behavior becomes the reward in itself.

On a sit-stay and watching for a hand signal to return.
