Dog's eyelid showing

Our 7yo English Springer Spaniel has one eye that's showing her eyelid from the nose side of the eye.

What is this?
How can we help her?

It's called the third eyelid. Generally you see it when there's an eye injury or irritation. If it doesn't improve in a day or two you should have a vet look at it.

Sounds like inflamed third eyelid aka cherry eye. Sometimes they will recede with treatment but frequently require surgical removal.

It's not red, it's just the white part of the eyelid. Taking her in tomorrow.
