Dogs got 3 of my chickens!!

You might want to put your chickens in a more secure area and treat them for shock(warm, quiet place out of bright light with food and water) and keep them there until you can repair the door because chances are the dogs will be back. Sorry for your loss!

Done, done, and done! Just secured 3 more hens. And my survivor hasn't missed a luck laying! Rooster is sticking really close to her. Even sitting beside her in nesting box. How sweet is that?

One of the survivors also died. I have one hen and a rooster left of my beautiful sweet little flock.
I’m so sorry. One of my dogs got one of my sweetest hens today. I’m hurting really bad over it. They are more than just chickens. They all have different personalities and different little quirks. Mine followed me around everywhere…We thought our dog would be fine, she never bothered them before. It was when I left them unsupervised for a split second.

I am so sorry for your loss. That is my biggest concern whilst I'm building my first coop, as I share a yard with my neighbour and their dog who would totally kill any chicken if they could.
