i am not much of a fluffy thing person (except for silkies )but if i really had to choose i would pic cat only be cos i have had bad experience with dogs killing stuff like my sisters dog Hebe killed my cat and a lamb that my mum had and hebe was not the only dog who killed stuff she was not meant to we had a dog wen i was little that killed some chickens that were not just are chickens but also the nabers(probably not spelt wright)so ya i wold pic cat

Heh, that depends on the animal. Had cocker spaniel in the past, and our last dog was a Belgian shepherd; he was just so badly behaved... He'd bite when you were curing him, he'd pull the leash without any regard of us; attacked our chickens and ate several live chicks whole... Have had cats too, and they've all been sweet, caring, not at all pushy about asking for love.
In the end (even though I loved my cocker spaniels) I'd never again have any breed of dog in my life.

Oh my gosh! My rescue dog does purr! It's the weirdest thing!
Still love cats though.
