Loving ALL of the dogs on this thread! Especially that Bernese Mountain Dog. I've wanted a Berner ever since I worked at Petsmart. A breeder used to come in once a week with her huge male and drop him with me at the register while she shopped. Norman was such a good boy, though he didn't leave me much space behind the counter when he'd hang out!
That Catahoula pup is just too cute! My DH and I have been considering one as a general farm dog (we have tons of coyotes and wild pigs around here, didn't get a single ear of corn off our sweet corn patch last year). But, we haven't done any serious searching. We both know a third dog, even if intended as a mostly outside dog, would just end up as another spoiled rotten, inside dog. I need a bigger house....
