So I'm getting new ducks today! Two girl harlequins. One couple months old one, and a older one. I have never gotten adults before (Always got ducklings
) but have read about it and plan on doing quarantine as I hope everyone who gets ducks does. I know many people skip it, but I really really REALLY don't want my flock getting sick and dying so I'm not going to risk it. I have a small pen with a small house on the opposite side of the yard, far away from the main duck pen. So they will be in that pen, and I will make sure the ducks don't go near them when they are foraging. I will be taking other precautions as well. I'm open to any questions about quarantining. Here's an article about it: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/the-importance-of-quarantine.970127/#post-15113357
