Dollar Tree is now the $1.25 Tree!

I have not seen any $2.00 items at our local Dollar Tree, but everything is now $1.25.

We have a Dollar General store, but the price can be anything and usually higher than the big box stores. I think they must consider themselves a convivence store.

FWIW, today when I was at the "Dollar Tree" store, I was the only one at the checkout line. Usually you have to wait for about 15-20 minutes. I wonder if the increase in prices had an immediate effect on their patronage? Too bad, it's the end of an era, I guess.
