dom. or barred rock

Could anybody tell me if this is a dominecker or a barred rock and also if its a male or female

My friend Steven Haymore grew up in Mount Airy.

Even though it's dark, I'm guessing Barred Rock Roo.

Could surprise me though and lay an egg soon.....

I dont know if its a rooster because it doesnt have any spurs at all

I think its a cross, and it looks very rooish to me too, even without the spurs.

Looks like it has a single comb so that rules out Dominique, it is a roo, but sure if it is purebred Barred Rock.
