Domestic Mallard Eggs

My mother duck stayed on her nest for 15 days but left it and has not been on the nest during the day for almost 7 days should I take these eggs and incubate them myself and how do I tell they are still viable

Seven days off the nest, those eggs are most likely dead. If you want to check you can candle them, by shining a flashlight under the egg in a darkly lit room.

Welcome to BYC. If she was full time setting on those eggs and left 7 days ago, they are no longer viable. If she was still laying them and just disappeared, they are probably viable.

Welcome to BYC! I imagine after 7 days without mama bird's warmth, the eggs are no longer viable. If she's still laying you can collect the new eggs and put them in an incubator!
