Dominant hen Question

Hi! I just got 5 hens from a friend today. they are currently in quarantine, but eventually i want to put them together. There was no rooster with them at there old home and there is definitely a dominant hen among them. My question is will my rooster and the other dominant hen fight like 2 roosters will?

Maybe, and maybe not. Lots of space, extra feeders and waterers, free ranging space, and hiding areas all will help. Then, see how things go.

There may be a short fracas but an adult rooster should quickly assert himself as the flock master. The odds are also good that the dominant hen will assume the top hen position.
