Dominate hen behavior

I have 4 hens, and the other day the boss hen actually mounted another hen, squashing her into the ground and flapping her wings over her.

Are you sure that "she" isn't a he? Dominant hens will sometimes mount other birds, or jump on them, but you might want to make sure.

Yeah it's a she, been laying eggs for 1 1/2 years.
