I LOVE Dominques!!!!
I used to have a gorgeous Dominque rooster when I was younger even though he was an idiot. He gave me a scar just below my right eye. I was chasing the hens and I thought for over 10 years that he was just defending his hens. NOT!!!!! I found out 10 years later that my brother was teasing me and threw that dumb roo at me. He never told our mom and papa 'cause he was afraid he would get in big trouble.
Anyway all that I can tell you is that even though that big Dominque roo gave me a scar for life I still love the breed. I'm kinda wanting a Dominque hen or two to add to my laying flock.
