Dominique at 8 weeks, Male or Female?

Buffalo, an 8-week-old Dominique from Ideal.

At 8 weeks, that's a pretty red face. The legs are also very long. I don't know about barring patterns but I know you can tell from that too. At this point, it looks like a cockerel.

I would wait a bit longer to make an official call though. Listen for vocalizations like crowing and more growth in the comb.
