Having not trap nested I can't give a precise answer but I can offer a general impression. Mine are dependable layers, meaning that they lay year round. I currently have 17 adult females & I have gathered as many as 16 eggs in a day. On some of our coldest winter days [temps below zero for several days in a row I generally got only 5-6 eggs but there were no days when I got no eggs.
The Dominiques, like the other American breeds, were intended as dual purpose birds who laid dependably & were a reasomable sized table fowl. They will not lay like some of the brown egg hybrids or the hybrid Leghorns.
I would estimato that mine lay in the 250-275 eggs per year range.
