Dominique or Barred Rock?

When we bought our order we got a free chick. I think I was able to narrow it down to Dominique or Barred Rock but I could be wrong. What are your thoughts? Almost 3 weeks old. Any idea on gender to? Hope the photos are ok.

I did some research on this breed is there any chance it could be a hen. All the article I've read point to rooster.

It is a Dominique but is looking like a rooster to me. The legs are very thick and don’t have black. Also he has no tail feathers yet and the white is wide. This is a male and a female. The male further back and the female at the front.

But they usually make great roosters if you can keep him. I have one, I hold him everyday and he is so sweet. He is gentle with the girls and keeps good watch. They make rooster collars if the noise is a concern.
