12 week old Dominique Roo up for adoption! Hatched on 6/9. Has a rose comb. I got him from Meyer Hatchery and ended up with a roo instead of a hen. Boo!
Located about 10 minutes from Albany, NY. If you're local to Albany I may even be willing to deliver.
I live in Bay St. Louis , Ms. I know it would be a Hassel. Just think " a Rooster from NY, moving to New Orleans! " It is about 60 miles from my house, hope I could convert him from Jets fan to Saints fan. I will pay all fees
U could ask your post office how to ship. R I will. Let me know. He will have a very good&safe home. I will use him in my brood pen, with 3 very young & healthy hens, now I know he is from Meyer. Hens r also
You need an approved shipping box - such as boxesforbirds.com or hm-e.net. Then he will have to go Express mail. "Express" now means up to 3 days depending on destination. You can ask your local PO how long is should take by giving them the destination zip code, and an estimation on weight will give you an idea on cost. I would wait until it is below 80 degrees along the way before shipping. Add apples or canned corn in the box before shipping too.
Did you try Craigslist? I'm just a few miles south of Albany and will have several Roos to re home soon...going to try this board & Craigslist. Best of luck! He's pretty

YES! I think I found a home for him! I posted him on Craigs List a few times and got no response. I posted again this week and now I have 3 people willing to take him! There is a woman that is supposed to come tonight to pick him up! WOOHOOO! He's going to a home in the country to free range and have a harem of 3-4 lovely ladies all to himself.
