Dominique roo?

Can anyone tell if this is a roo or not, or can we even tell at this age. I believe this pic was when it was about 5 weeks old. Thank you in advance... this one squwalks more then the rest (all same age but different breeds) who chirp.

He's pretty light. The roos are usually lighter, hens darker.

"She's" a pullet and a very pretty one at that!

Sorry, I think cockerel. He's too light to be a pullet, IMO. But then, on occasion, you will get a lighter than normal pullet. Sexing rules of Doms are the same as Barred Rocks. Males are much lighter in color almost every time.

Yeah, I had a few of those in the ornamental run I got 3 months ago. Pullet for sure

a definate pullet if its a barred rock

mine had a definate comb and wattles


that one looks like every one of our pullets
