Do you know the age of the Dominique?

As of right now, I’d go with rooster. He’s got pretty big wattles and their kind of dark. But the age might say differently.

Yeah, with that age, those wattles and comb, plus the way the tail is acting and the neck feathers, I’d think male.

Can you take a look at his sickle and saddle feathers? Are they longer, pointed?

Also, for Dominique’s, females tend to be darker than males.

Given the color of the barring... you have a cockerel. No doubts. And if there were doubts, he has very clear male saddle feathers.

I would say they are pointed.

Yeah, then he’s growing in a bit. Got the curved and painted saddle and sickle feathers
