Hi!
I know it's a bit early, but can anyone give a guess at what gender these three chicks are? They are coming up on 3 1/2 weeks old. The first two are Domnique X Buff Orpington and the last is Dominique X EE. One other question: what's the comb of the last chick? walnut?

Pretty sure this one is a cockerel, the wattles are coming in and comb is pretty large for his age. Can someone second me on this?

This one has the smallest comb of all of them and no evidence of wattles at all.

This is the Dominique X EE. I'm not sure what to think about this one, the comb is large but it's of a type I haven't seen before (maybe walnut, I need some input on that).
Thanks!

Give them another couple of weeks. I'm gonna guess all cockerals just to freak you out. Any boys will generally get pink combs by 5-6 weeks.
:)
Is the Dom the mother or the father? No clear signs right now.
The Dominique is the father. If this is of any use, the EE cross feathered out first, the BO cross with the smallest comb feathered second, and the one I'm suspecting is a cockerel began feathering last (and is the smallest in size).

Here they are at 6 weeks, in the same order:
First Dom x BO (single comb)

Second Dom x BO (rose comb)

Dom x EE (mystery comb)
