I’m all for supporting local makers! I have a tote bag from a small business with that on it and I carry it everywhere. Farmers markets for the win

Like if you’re buying a small tree for the chickens from a family farm, wouldn’t the benefit of funding the family farm kinda make up for buying unnecessary decor, rather than buying from a big chain (which would actually make it useless)

That's fine. My opinion on this subject really doesn't matter. I buy toys for my dogs, that's pretty much the equivalent of putting up a tree for your chickens. I would rather spend the Christmas season blessing a human though, that's all.

I think that you are thinking much too big we have a small tree, and we wanted to decorate it for a few cute pics, and then that’s that.

I would disagree. A toy for a dog gives the dog at least some entertainment and fun, even if they forget it as soon as they're done. Christmas trees for chickens doesn't really entertain them, it probably annoys them lol, since they have less space
