Don’t like change?

Hi. Have staggered roosts. Added one at 3 inches off the floor to assist my big orpingtons to get higher. Added to the flock. One big orp is now bottom of order and is kicked down to the 3 incher each night. I felt sorry for her so raised it to 7 inches. Still low. She spent the night on the floor! Doesn’t like change? Or something else?

Thanks nuthatch. She can go from the 3 inches up to the next two easy enough. Hmmm. Maybe I’ll lower it again. Am I interfering too much? Is she happy enough down there? I did put in a ring off a tree which she used for a couple of days instead. That was easy 8, but a bigger surface to land on.

If she was using it just fine at 3" I would've left it alone. She probably can get used to it at 7" if you'd rather not reverse things, but may need some time to adjust to it.
