Dong Tao- Yay or Nay?

I feel sorry for chickens of that breed. They've been transformed into grotesque monsters and I think it is cruel.

I am not sure it's cruel, but they are not my cup of tea. Reading the article gave lots more pictures at different angles of both hens and roosters, and the single picture included here is by far the most flattering!

What is cruel is breeding chickens that are not able to walk.

I JUST found out about this breed. My grandmother sent me a picture and I thought it was fake or a chicken with a severe foot issue. I really hate to say this but they are the most gruesome looking bird I've ever seen.

You didn't have an option for "Yes, they look horrible" lol. They are fairly hideous but I want one anyway. I bet their personalities are stellar!! They would have to be. I also like the idea of having a dragon chicken to scare off anyone or anything that gets too close to my coop without my permission lol. I bet a raccoon would take one look at this thing and crap itself. I bet my dog would do the same. She would never chase a chicken again.
