Donkey and horse show!!!!

This is Honey our Belgian draft horse that we rescued as a starving yearling. Our friendly vet notified us that a farm in our local area was neglecting several Belgian horses, unfortunately they were left in a small field to fend for themselves, several didn't survive but we were able to rescue several that thrived with well care and feed. Honey surprised many of us with exceeding in growth, she surpassed in may ways, she was a outstanding gift to all of us in gentle ways and growing in 18+ hands, she is still very much apart of our lives and is a true test to what loving care is all about.

This is Annabell, a 14 year old Registered AQHA mare.
She has won money team roping and barrel racing but her true calling is talking kids under her wing. Such a special mare we are blessed to own.

This is Spirit, my friend's 10 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He was abused at his home before, but she's working with him.

Animal abusers should be subjected to the same treatment that they give their animals!
I've rescued a few abused animals myself and it makes me furious at the people who can do that!
That's a pretty horse. I hope it recovers and learns that there are good people in the world too.

This is Annie. Shes a brown registered quarterhorse born May 10, 1985. Yep, she is almost 33 years old. Love my girl!

WOW! it is so wonderful to see someone showing and taking care of such a wonderful old horse! I also have a old aging mare that will be turning 35 this fall.. with lots of love and special feed our special equine can live a very long life, thanks for sharing your photo of your special friend...if only they could live as long as we do....my heart saddens when they too will pass on to greener pastures...……… much love to all!
