I would be a little concerned as there are rattlesnakes in that area and they den with other snakes.

Listening to snakes in the walls every night???

My house would "conveniently" burn to the ground after a few nights of THAT!!!!
I'm not even THAT afraid of snakes, but I don't want to live with them, ya know? The water thing would just be nasty!!

ETA: Imagine if they had cats. LOL my sister's cats would occasionally go crazy when a mouse came in the shared walls in her apartment, but it was occasional not infested!
