This morning I went to feed the chickens and my hen Nene was limping on one leg Her chicks were fine and I did not see any type of disturbance in the pen Ran some errands came back and nothing had changed I don't see any wounds but her foot looks curled up I'm going to bring her and the chicks inside with me and take her to the vet tomorrow Has anyone else had this happen to their hen Her chicks are not 2 weeks old yet

I have had situations like this before - MANY times. In fact, I have it going on right now with one of my turkeys. All you have to do, is leave the chicken alone and it will get better. I promise.

The first time it happened was with my Jersey Giant pullet named Onyx. I was so confused. I didn't know what to do. But, it got better. Like I said, this has happened to me many times before. The foot will get better by itself.
