2 roos with 30 hens would be ok, unless you get a rooster like mine, with Highlander syndrome. (There can be only ONE!) I have one roo right now, with 43 hens and pullets. I tried to keep a second one, but they tried to kill each other. Actually, I have 2 young Buckeye cockerels, they are just now getting ideas about the hens. The roo doesn't seem to have noticed yet. I need to sell these 2 Buckeyes.
