Don't know egg age in incubator

This chick is going to be so spoiled, I literally feel like I have given birth because I haven't really slept in the last 4 days thanks to hatch anxiety and my back/neck are killing me from hunching to constantly check on him in the incubator. Dabbed some neosporin on the bubble and around the edges, chick decided it was the perfect time to start trying to stand up and almost fell out of my hand, fighter for sure. Anyhow, has a nice comfy "mattress" of paper towel and is chirping up a storm and trying to stand in the incubator. Probably going to keep him in there until this evening because while I hoped for the best, was expecting the worst and didn't set the brooder up yet. So gotta get on that.

Please update us with pics as he or she fluffs up and grows!

HE CAN STAND!!!! MY BABY CAN STAND! I have the incubator on my dresser at the top of my bed. Was laying down just resting and I hear a bunch of chirping and there's the chick, standing and yelling at me through the incubator xD

His is, and he's fluffing up nicely, redness at navel is already going down, I've had to clean him up a little since he had some sticky gunk on his legs. Still can't believe he made it, but he's going to be lonely in the brooder since its sized for way more chicks, which of course means he's going to be a lap chick lol. I have another batch of 8 eggs incubating since Monday, so hopefully that one goes better than this one and he'll have some friends soon.
