Don't know how to sleep

Help!! I'm both worried and amused because my chick doesn't know how to sleep, this is my first time raising a baby chick and my first time having one. It stands when it sleeps and drops it head like a sleepy kid, then just pops it head back up again

Can you put a thermometer right there in between the chick and that waterer and get a picture of what temperature it is right there?

Yes, my hen is lazy at laying eggs

Maybe give it something to snuggle under, nothing heavy a wash cloth or tea towel.

I've given it a soft towel and a small stuffed toy, he now leans to the both of it but still stands and tries to sleep

They do that. I personally prefer that to when they flop down and don't move for 10 minutes
