Dont know how to upload a video

Hey

So I need to upload a video to help someone on this sit but i dont know how.

When i upload the file from my phone. It says the file extension is not one allowed.

Its an mp4?

How do i do it?

Hi

You first need to upload your video to YouTube or similar. Copy the link for the vid from there and paste it into your post using the film roll icon in your editor.

I dont have a youtube account and honestly i dont want to upload it onto there.

Is there any other way?

If i upload to youtube can anyone find it and watch it?

I'm afraid there is no other way.

I think you can set videos to private on YouTube within your settings but I'm not totally sure as I have mine on public. I will take a look for you.

I'm also not sure that if you did that then the video links you posted here would not be able to be viewed

Ok when I publish a vid on YouTube I get these options so yes you can set to private or only to be viewed with a link ~

You could also upload it to Vimeo or Dailymotion, you can embed videos from both of those sites.

If you have a google account, you already have a youtube account.. same people.. your password for google works with both.
