I think it is probably him trying to crow. They will make weird noises at first until they learn how to really do it.

I thought so. Then I'm for sure he was in the pullet bin at the feed store. There were 6 that were pulled from straight runs, we got 2 roos out of those and 4 from pullet bins, with 1 being a roo now. I have 2 turkeys I'm trying to sex as well. They are only about 5 weeks old and one is noticeably bigger than the other, so I'm assuming we have one of each there. Thank you for your help!
